Three bored upper-class gentlemen are continuously looking for their next "thrill". They hook up with a deposed Duke and purchase some items to bring back you-know-who from the dead.

You have to give the writers major kudos for coming up with an original storyline for a Dracula movie. The characters are interesting and there are a couple of subplots that keep the movie watcher's attention. And, as usual for movies of this genre, the ladies are very lovely and there is enough gore/violence to make the squeamish look away.

Dracula doesn't even play a part of this movie until the 45 minute mark. But, to give them credit, when he does show up all hell brakes lose. And is the case for many movies this old that aren't on the "Top 100 Movies" list, you'll have to live with the Dolby Digital 1.0 mono soundtrack.

If you're willing to give this movie some time before the action picks up, you will not be disappointed. If you're a fan of either Christopher Lee or vampire movies in general, you'll definitely want to check this out if for no other reason than it's originality.
