Plot

A medical student wins a place to study at the premier medical university in Heidelberg, Germany. On the way to Heidelberg, she saves the life of a another train passenger. A few days later, his body shows up at the school to do an autopsy on. Not being satisfied that his death was natural, she investigates on her own and discovers that there is a lot more going on at the school than meets the eyes.

Pros

This is an original story with a very strong cast; how many other medical student horror/suspense/mystery movies come to mind? The script was well written and the actors actually come across as a bunch of college students; there wasn't a weak link in the group. And there wasn't any "I can't believe the character did that" moments; you know, like walking into a haunted house by yourself late at night after hearing a scream.

Cons

I would have liked to learn more about AAA (you'll understand once you watch the film) and there were just too many needles.

Recommendation

I'm a big Franka Potente fan (Run Lola Run sees the inside of my DVD player on a regular basis) and I love this genre of movies. The fact that the film is as good as it is was just icing on the cake. If you don't get queasy at the site of blood/internal organs, you need to give this film a try.
